Story & Mission
Story & Mission
Christina’s career hasn’t followed a straight line — and that’s been one of its greatest strengths. With degrees in Fine Arts & Humanities and Marketing & General Business, she learned early how to navigate both creative intuition and analytical strategy. She’s worked inside organizations, led marketing efforts, built businesses from the ground up, and seen growth from multiple angles. Along the way, she realized that sustainable success isn’t about chasing every opportunity — it’s about knowing what actually fits.
Today, Christina helps heart-led small business owners and founders bring clarity to their marketing and operations so growth feels aligned instead of overwhelming. She takes a full-picture approach, looking beyond tactics to systems, people, timing, and energy. Her role isn’t to push solutions, but to guide clients toward intentional decisions that support long-term, sustainable momentum — without burning out or losing the joy in what they’re building.
What She Believes
Clarity creates momentum. When you understand what actually matters, decisions get easier and progress becomes steadier.
Growth should respect your capacity. Businesses thrive when strategies are built to support your energy, time, and real-life constraints — not ignore them.
Marketing works best when it’s honest and intentional. When your message aligns with who you are and how you operate, trust builds naturally without relying on tactics that feel forced or out of place.
Enjoyment isn’t a distraction from success. When you reconnect with why you started and find room for curiosity and creativity, work feels much less like work and more like fun.
What She Does
Business clarity & prioritization — Helping you understand what matters most right now so you can make confident decisions without spreading yourself too thin.
Marketing strategy & alignment — Looking at brand, messaging, audience, channels, and systems together so your marketing supports your business goals instead of creating more noise.
Practical direction & planning — Translating complex business and marketing considerations into clear, actionable next steps you can realistically implement.
Collaborative support — Working alongside you through conceptualizing, planning, decision-making, and execution with an empathetic, thoughtful approach.
Why Work With Christina
She helps you see what’s actually happening. By zooming out and connecting the dots, she brings perspective when you’re too close to the day-to-day to see clearly.
She approaches growth with restraint and intention. Instead of piling on tactics or timelines, she helps you choose paths that are sustainable and aligned with how you want to work.
She respects both logic and intuition. Decisions are grounded in experience and analysis, while still leaving room for judgment, creativity, and timing.
She creates space for enjoyment alongside progress. When the pressure eases and the noise fades, the work becomes more focused, more effective, and more enjoyable.
Ready to Bring More Clarity to Your Business?
If you’re feeling the weight of too many decisions or too many directions, let’s slow things down and sort through it together. Sometimes a focused conversation is all it takes to see the path.
Ways To Work Together
Consulting
This option gives you direct access to my expertise and guidance. We meet regularly to talk through strategy, uncover blind spots, share best practices, and make sense of the bigger picture. It’s a great fit if you already have a team in place and are looking for thoughtful direction, steady accountability, and an objective outside perspective.
Consulting + Marketing Team
This option gives you both strategic guidance and hands-on support. I don’t just advise. I partner with you to get things done. From project management and research to CRM setup, email flows, website updates, graphic design, and other marketing tasks, you’ll have support with both planning and implementation. Each package includes a set number of implementation hours, with the flexibility to add more hours or service bundles whenever you’re ready for additional support.
Marketing Team
This option is ideal if you already know what you need and are looking for a trusted marketing team to handle the execution. Whether it’s website updates, copywriting, data work, systems setup, or other marketing tasks, you get hands-on support. Services are offered through separate pricing or time-based packages, giving you flexibility to get the work done as needs arise.
Not Sure Which Option Fits?
You don’t have to decide on your own. We can talk through your goals, your capacity, and what level of support makes the most sense right now. The right fit should feel aligned, not overwhelming.

My Family:
Family is at the center of my world. I married my best friend in 2006, and we’re raising our son together in what we affectionately call the Shrive Tribe. We genuinely enjoy spending time together — traveling, exploring new places, and simply being present with one another.
We love sharing music, revisiting favorite movies, discovering new ones, and trading recommendations across generations. Our home is full of conversation, curiosity, humor, and creativity. Time together isn’t something we squeeze in — it’s something we strive for.
Watching our son grow into his own interests and personality has been one of the most grounding and meaningful parts of my life. It’s a reminder that growth doesn’t have to be rushed, and that the best things tend to unfold when there’s space, trust, and support.
Myself:
I’ve always had a curious, observant nature and tend to notice details others might overlook. One quirky example is that I can write in mirror image, a skill I picked up in elementary school and still use from time to time simply to exercise my mind. It’s a small habit, but it reflects how I enjoy engaging with the world in thoughtful and slightly unconventional ways.
I’m drawn to experiences that feel meaningful without being heavy and lighthearted without being shallow. I enjoy moments that invite reflection just as much as those that spark laughter or surprise, whether I’m exploring a place layered with history or enjoying something simple and unexpected.
I’m comfortable being curious, a little unconventional, and unapologetically myself. I enjoy exploring, experimenting, and finding small ways to keep life interesting, often for no reason other than curiosity.
My Interests:
Animals & Nature
I grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where the forest wasn’t something you visited — it was simply part of daily life. The woods were my backyard, and being outside felt normal, steady, and grounding. That early connection stayed with me and continues to shape how I move through the world.
Today, that connection shows up at home through the animals and plants we care for. We currently have three chickens (Pretzel, Panko, and Plum), a dog (Floki), a guinea pig (Tzeetch – “Zee” for short), freshwater fish tanks, and a tarantula. Spending time with our animals and in nature is genuinely comforting for me, and I believe staying connected to the natural world is important for people in ways we often overlook.
Puzzles, LEGOs, & Pattern-Thinking
As a kid, I was always working on jigsaw puzzles or taking things apart just to see how they worked (and usually put them back together again). That early curiosity stuck with me and still shows up in the hobbies I enjoy today.
I gravitate toward puzzles, logic challenges, cryptograms, LEGO builds, and creating small dioramas as a way to unwind and step away from screens for a bit. I enjoy focusing on something hands-on, noticing patterns, and figuring out how pieces fit together. It keeps my mind engaged without feeling overwhelming and is one of the easiest ways for me to relax while still feeling mentally stimulated. I genuinely believe it’s the little things in life that bring us unbiased joy and help us to live in the moment.
Culture, Travel & Language
I’ve long been fascinated by language, learning, and how people experience the world differently. After struggling with reading and speech in elementary school, learning eventually became something I leaned into fully. Once those early challenges were behind me, curiosity took over, and I developed a strong interest in understanding language, history, and culture.
That curiosity showed up early through reading National Geographic and Smithsonian Magazine and eventually carried into travel. About ten years ago, I traveled outside the United States for the first time, backpacking in Ireland, Scotland, and the UK for two and a half weeks. That trip deepened my appreciation for tradition, history, and how the past shapes the present. I’m currently learning German, Latin, and Spanish simply for the joy of learning and the perspective that language brings.
Homesteading Projects
From baking bread and preserving food to gardening and raising chickens, I enjoy hands-on projects that connect effort with outcome. There’s something grounding about understanding and experiencing a process from start to finish.
Doing these things helps me feel connected to how people lived and fed themselves long before convenience became the norm. Working with food in this way keeps me attuned to the natural cycles involved—growing seasons, time, patience, and repetition—and deepens my appreciation for the planet and the resources it provides. Taking the time to make and preserve food by hand builds a quiet respect for the effort involved and creates a sense of continuity between past and present that feels meaningful to me.
If This Feels Like a Good Fit…
Working together starts with a simple conversation. If you resonate with how I think, how I work, and how I approach growth, let’s connect and see what that could look like for you.
